Job Description

Your New Job Title: Supply Chain AnalystYour New Salary: £25-30KLocation: Central London and WFHJob status: PermStart date: ASAPWorking hours: 38.25hr weekWho Youll Be Working for:Leading design business working in the luxury hotel sector.What Youll be Doing Each Day:To be a valued member of the Supply Chain Team using data analytics to report on department metrics and KPIs as well as forecasting stock demand, ordering from vendors, improving efficiencies, and assisting with planning to drive continuous improvement inthe customer journey.

  • Process automation & system efficiency champion
  • Monitor stock levels across all warehouses and recommend action to ensure efficiency
  • Maintain and use the Supply Planning tool to report on stock needs weekly
  • Forecast stock demand
  • Place POs with Vendors, update with information from suppliers, and ensure all PO data is accurate
  • Create a positive relationship with Vendors so they focus on our orders and respond quickly and positively to our requests
  • Keep stakeholders informed of changes or delays with purchase orders (including via tasks)
  • Work with external partners to obtain data as required
  • Track and report on partner compliance to vendor standards
  • Manage vendor reports and KPIs via monthly emails
  • Resolve issues with Vendors/deliveries
  • Item setup and maintenance in partnership with NPD and Finance
  • Track and report on supply chain costs (COGs - cost of goods sold)
  • Ensure all department data is accurate and maintained
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with weekly, monthly, and monthly reporting
  • Coordinate dashboard development and improvement with BI
  • Analyse department data to suggest improvements and identify problems
  • Support the Monthly Business Reviews with external partners by providing needed data and maintenance of partner dashboards
  • Track and report on warehouse KPI compliance
  • Analyse and report on OTIF and other key metrics to determine areas of improvement
  • Assist in the showroom and office samples check in and out process
  • Provide cover for administrative responsibilities in the department when required
  • Annual Stock Count participant
  • When needed arrange shipments from suppliers to our warehouses or customers
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with data on vendors during negotiations
The Skills Youll Need to Succeed:
  • Supply Chain background
  • Strong analytical ability
  • MS Office including Advanced Excel skills
  • Independent self-starter and intelligent problem solver
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Able to work under pressure to tight timelines
