A genuinely child focused and therapeutic not for profit fostering agency are looking to recruit a Supervising Social Worker to join their team in East Sussex, supporting carers across Brighton / Hove / Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells.Their child centredapproach to delivering a fostering service for over 10 years now has helped them to maintain the core values of a family run not-for-profit making fostering service. Their vision and passion is to provide children and young people in foster care with safety,stability and hope; the relentless pursuit of this vision and passion through their committed foster carers and their families and hardworking staff helps them remain a child/young person centred fostering service with a family feel.With low caseloads of 8-11,their focus is spending quality time with their carers, offering support, supervision and training to maintain stable placements for the young people in their care. Their support is informed by therapeutic parenting approaches.You will be / have: A qualifiedsocial worker SWE registered Prior experience of working as a Supervising Social Worker (ideal not essential) Prior experience of working within childrens services Be looking for a role with a therapeutic approach / therapeutic social work experience wouldbe an advantage but not essential A car owner / driver Be prepared to travel across the East Sussex region.If you are looking for the opportunity to join an IFA with an excellent ethos and not for profit status, with an excellent and supportive manager, whereyou can have a genuine work life balance, then this role should be of interest.Salary is to £34,000 (negotiable, based on experience) + 45ppm + OOH allowance.
