Application closing date:28th April 2023Salary:£12.00 - £15.00 per hour Group Leader Assistant (depending on experience)Contract type:4 WeeksWorking Pattern:Full Time/Part TimeNumber of Posts: 1 Group Leader AssistantLocation:Brent Start Adult Education ServiceAbout usWe are creating an engaging platform for all young people who focus on ensuring they are healthy, thriving, contributing positively and collectively empowering members of their communities.We Specialise in diverting young people from negative influences by providing support through early interventions.Kore Development Charity is dedicated to making a huge difference to the lives of those in our community.Short SummaryAre you dynamic, patient, adaptable and up for a challenge - if so, a job in our Summer Camp could be just the thing for you!Kore Development are seeking to employ staff for our Summer Camp- we are recruiting for 1 Group leader, 8 Playworkers, 1 Group Leader Assistants and volunteer positions.You will be working to create and plan a safe, stimulating and exciting programme of activities for children and young people with a variety of needs between the ages of 8 and 15.The Summer Camp runs for approximately 4 weeks in the summer holidays and provides respite care to families who need it, whilst at the same time, offering exceptional opportunities for young people to experience arrange of new activities.Who were looking forSomeone who loves to see children of all ages enjoying different activities and having fun. Youll be friendly and approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work closely with the management team to ensure thatthe club organization and administration is of the highest quality.

  • Previous experience working in an administrative or office based role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Quick learner
  • Resilient
  • Team player
  • 18 or over
  • NVQ Level 2 qualification or above in Childcare (Desirable)
  • Experience working with children in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding and First Aid.(Desirable)

This is a compulsory element and failure to attend may put your application in jeopardy.This role plays an imperative part within the Team and Office.This role is perfect for someone who has prior experience within an Office based role and who is looking to work in a dynamic, inclusive, hardworking and fun environment.Youll be getting involved in Office Management, Personal Assistant Duties, Event planning and HR.Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Coordinating and arranging all internal socials and training events
  • Responsible for diary management, arranging and coordinating agenda for the Group Leader meetings and Kore Development Charity meetings, including taking minutes.
  • Assisting the Group n Leader in all HR administration of letters and contracts.
  • First point of contact for all office queries, office maintenance, stock management, and supporting facilitators enquiries.
  • Providing accurate and timely updates for staff attendance and rotas
