We are an acclaimed interior design practice based in London. The studio works on high-end unique commercial and residential projects all over the world.We work on prestigious homes and properties with clients who are well-versed in the world of art and design. The studio prides itself on curating and designing distinctive environments and experiences to match the client’s brief and expectations.This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Director and gain valuable experience, as well as playing a pivotal role in achieving future goals and successes within an ambitious young company.Although this is not a design role, having experience in the design industry is a big advantage, particularly furniture design and procurement. Experience in administrative or studio management roles is also preferable.Initially you’ll be required to do the following, although the role can evolve with your own ambitions...• Create FF&E specification schedules (InDesign or Power Point)• Assist in sourcing new furniture, products and vintage/antique pieces• Create and monitor project procurement spreadsheets (Google sheets or Excel)• Track and update supplier quotes, across all projects• Facilitate client orders with suppliers and manufactures• Manage payments made to suppliers and manufactures by clients• Manage orders and lead times in order to hit project deadlines and install dates• Visit suppliers to pick up and search for new samples• Search and expand on studio supplier trade accounts• General liaison with suppliers and manufactures• Assist Director on various tasks and errands• Assist on admin related tasks (knowledge of using Xero accountancy software is a plus)Essential skills and traits to have.• Impeccable written and spoken English• Related industry experience• Excellent interpersonal skills• An ability to act effectively under pressure• Highly organised• Proactive attitude• Highly confident in communicating both in person and digitally• An interest in design and related industries• Experience in using word-processing and spreadsheet software, InDesign or Power PointThe role will be based in our West London studio, however being able to work productively from home and remotely is essential. Some travel outside of London may be required. Salary dependent on experience.
