Job Description

Service: Environment, Roads and Facilities Section: Traffic and Network ManagementLocation: Home / MochdreSalary: G05 - £22,183 - £25,481 per annumHours and Basis: 37 Hours per week, PermanentWelsh Language Skills: The ability to communicate in Welsh to converse at ease with customers is desirable for this post.Manager details for informal discussion regarding the post: Stephen Daly, Streetworks Engineer - or by an email.We are looking for a self-motivated person to work in our busy Street Works team.You will be responsible for maintaining the Electronic Transfer of Notices (EToN) System, checking notices from utility companies, and managing the Street Works Register. You will oversee the processing and issuing of licences for activities on the highway, assist in the preparation of Temporary Traffic Regulations and the issuing of Fixed Penalty Notices and Section 74 Notices, as well as assisting in the day to day running of the office.You should be educated to A Level standard and have strong IT skills. Knowledge of highways legislation including the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Highways Act 1980 and Traffic Management Act 2004 would be an advantage.Conwy is committed to equality of opportunity and we welcome applications from all sections of our community.
