Join our community. As our business is expanding, its an exciting time for a Strategy Manager to join our Santander Corporate and Investment Banking (SCIB) team based in London. Youll play a key role in driving the SCIB UK strategy forward by helpingto build a simpler, more focused corporate and investment banking business in the UK. Youll ultimately provide our clients with a comprehensive value proposition and a consistently superior client journey. Youll work on the identification, analysis and executionof strategic and transformation initiatives. So youll have a significant impact on both the short and medium term financial and operational performance of the business. The difference youll make. Supporting the Head of SCIB UK, Head of SCIB UK Strategy andthe SCIB UK leadership team on the biggest and most critical strategic questions facing the business Helping Santander to significantly grow our presence in the UK market Supporting SCIB senior leadership in the strategy planning exercise and the commercialisationof strategic growth initiatives (both organic and inorganic) Driving implementation of strategic projects and managing day-to-day execution and risks of strategic transformation programmes Ensuring effective communication of SCIB UK strategic priorities andinitiatives internally within the business Coordinating closely with UK and EU regulators for key strategic regulatory initiatives and change programmes What youll bring. Proven and demonstrable exposure in Investment Banking/Capital Markets topics Superiorproblem-solving skills - ability to analyse a problem and synthesise for senior management It would also be nice for you to have. Previous consulting experience within a strategy/management consulting practice Delivery focused - understanding and experienceof structuring and executing strategic transformational programmes Senior stakeholder management and influencing experience - ability to work in close collaboration with senior stakeholders across different business areas Demonstrating awareness of currentand emerging market topics and trends impacting the banking industry (Brexit, Libor, ESG) Knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape What else you need to know. The location of this role is flexible, but you must be within a reasonable commuting distance ofour offices in Central London (at least 4 days a week) How well reward you.
