Job OverviewExciting opportunity for a professional to join the strategy and insight team at the British Medical Association on a permanent contract. Reporting into the Head of strategy management, the strategy management co-ordinator is responsible for supporting on key programmes of work relating to the BMAs corporate strategy, projects, and team activity within the strategy management team.We are looking for an enthusiastic and independent individual with a broad range of skills and experience.In your new role you will:Liaise with senior stakeholders to obtain strategy measures, progress updates and annual plansConduct basic research and analyse data relating to the strategy. Distilling and summarising findings, and assembling a strategic dashboardSupport the team with workshops, meetings and compiling supporting documentationLiaise with finance to ensure that new projects are identified, and the correct documentation issued to staff, in accordance with the businesss project frameworkLiaise with project managers to obtain initial project documentation and helping to ensure complianceLiaise with project managers to obtain regular and timely project updates/reportsLiaise with finance to obtain ongoing cost and budget positionsProduction of a regular project portfolio dashboard for the senior leadership team and boardLiaise with stakeholders to obtain monthly risk register updates and ensuring evidence of risk reviewResponsible for the production of the consolidated corporate risk registerOur ideal candidate will have:Good numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skillsProficient in using Microsoft Office, comprising comprehensive use of outlook, basic excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint skills, and competency in Microsoft WordAdept at working with ambiguity, ability to organise activities in a logical manner, and an eye for detailTechnical project management skills in order to understand the context of the project and risk reportingStrong stakeholder management skillsWhy work for usAs a BMA employee, you`ll receive:Generous annual leave provision, plus 1 company day and public holidaysDouble matching pension contributions up to 12% of salarySeason ticket loan (up to £10,000) after completion of probationary periodAdditional flexible benefits.You may be working remotely initially, but we`ll provide all the support you need.
