If youre successful, youll join Legal & Generals well-regarded Retail business, which plays a pivotal rolein our continued success. Starting 1st July, your internship will last for 8 weeks. This programme is a pipeline for our Graduate Programme (although successful completion of the Summer Programme does not guarantee that a graduate role is available). This programme will be based in our One Coleman Street, London Office. Please note, we can only accept 1 application per person across all of our intern programmes. To be in with the best chance of securing a role, please submit your application ASAP.Job DescriptionDuring your 8-week placement which runs throughout July and August, you will be a member of our Retail strategy team. You will interact across all departments and areas of the division, gaining first-hand experience of how business decisions are made underpressure and what it takes to win in our competitive markets. Your day-to-day activities will support multiple strategic projects and might include:

• Performing market and competitor analysis to support decision making
• Collating business performance information to support strategic reporting
• Supporting senior members of the strategy team with strategic assessments of business problems
• Assisting in financial modelling and analysis of strategic activity
• Participating in strategy discussions across the Retail division

QualificationsFirst and foremost, we are looking for people in their penultimate year at university with an inquisitive mind and a desire to learn. Were not expecting prior industry experience, but well want to see that you have keen interest in how businesses functionand drive to solve complex problems. We want to ensure you have the tools to succeed and develop quickly. These include:

• On track for a 2.1 Degree in Business or STEM subjects
• In your penultimate of University (i.e. graduating in 2025)
• B in A Level Maths
• Curious, motivated and have a desire to learn more about a career in corporate strategy!
• Analytical mind-set
• Great communication skills
• Flexible and a team-player
• High levels of energy and desire to embrace new opportunities
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively

• submitting an application for the role (consisting of uploading your CV, answering some specic application questions, and completing information to assess your eligibility based on your A-Level grades and degree) - February*
• online testing and recorded video interview (Behavioural and Cognitive i.e. verbal and numerical reasoning) - you will be invited to complete these straight after submitting your application
• a call with our team to answer any questions you may have about the scheme or the assessment centre - February - March
• an assessment centre (involving a line manager interview, presentation) - February-March
