In Deals we solve the important problems that stand in the way of value being created, sustained, realised or protected for our clients - working together to aid responsible recovery and growth. Working on iconic deals with national and global clients,we put together major mergers and acquisitions and resolve business crises - from international take-over bids to financial crime investigations and cases of insolvency. We draw upon our deals experience across many industries to support and partner with ourclients, to positively impact society and the communities in which we operate. The roleYou will work with leading corporate clients and investors, supporting and helping them tackle their toughest decisions. Your engagements will include a mix of corporate strategy (growth strategy, market entry, pricing, commercial excellence, product strategy)and transaction-related work (commercial due diligence and pre- and post-deal value creation). Your work will be varied, fast paced - no engagement is ever the same. As part of our team, you will gain extensive exposure to engagements across Banking, Insurance, Wealth and Asset Management, Payments as well as FinTech, and work on a variety of strategy and commercial due diligence assignments. Some exciting situations we have worked on recently include the sell-side diligence of a cyber insurer, the buy-side diligence of a wealth technology business and the definition of a digitisation strategy for a commercial insurance broker. In our due diligence projects, you will be exposed to a variety of deal situations in terms of sub-sector, deal size (enterprise value from less than £100 million to several billions), type of client (e.g. private equity investors vs. corporates), side of thedeal (e.g. buy- vs. sell-side) and type of investment (e.g. minority investment, LBO, carve-out). Skills and experience Your background (Any of the below)

• Significant experience from a strategy consulting firm with experience in conducting and managing Commercial Due Diligence/Vendor Due Diligence
• Experience within Private Equity (investment or operational role)

Your skills

• Youll have a very structured approach to problem solving and exceptional analytical skills
• Strong client management skills, including an understanding of how to communicate with clients of different backgrounds and opinions
• Proven experience of supporting and coaching junior team members
• An ability to multitask effectively and balance time between project delivery and business development support effectively
• Experienced in running projects on a day-to-day basis, structuring and managing the work streams and supervising delivery
• Planning initial hypotheses and analysis; formulating initial hypotheses based on previous experience, knowledge of the sector and understanding of the scope of work
• As a Senior Manager you will be confident in taking total ownership of client engagements and projects as well as supporting the wider practice improvement initiatives. Youll look at the wider business development opportunities, team growth and practicedevelopment
