Were rebuilding the trust with local communities as we rebuild and repair their homes.The Role:You will be part of a new Housing and Social Investment Directorate that offers a genuine challenge to your procurement skills in both housing management and housing needs. You will work closely with the Corporate Procurement team, to manage the development of sustainable procurement and contract management strategies. This is about social investment as well as housing services. Bringing together value for money and social value, you will prioritise the needs and views of residents and effective use of the local supply chain. We want to deliver the best housing for everyone.About You:Pragmatic and focused on finding solutions, youll combine experience of working in procurement with sound knowledge of local authorities or social housing. The ability to manage projects, budgets and resources to targets is essential. Along with general proficiency in IT, youre likely to have experience of contract management systems. You should hold or be working towards CIPS or a similar qualification.
