Job Description

Redstone Commodity Search focus on offering 360 search solutions to the global commodities markets. With a competitive coverage of Trading Houses, Producers, Majors, Utilities, Merchants, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks and Brokerages; Redstone CommoditySearch can confidently offer you an edge in todays volatile market. Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international steel trading company looking for a steel trader to join their team in the UK, to build and develop sales lines into the NorthAfrican market. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Responsible for developing business and trading steel focusing on flat and long products into the North African markets Manage entire supply chain from source to delivery for the various product lines including:HRC, CRC, rebar, debar, billets, wire rods, slab, plate and tubular etc. Identify and on-board new customers and manage their processes to ensure delivery of volume & margin targets based on a monthly/quarterly/ annual basis Work closely with finance and operationsteams to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction. Reports into the Global Trading Director Key Qualifications / Experience Between 3 - 5 years experience trading steel products into the North African markets (billets, merchant bars, tubes/pipes,structural sections, reinforcing bars, wire rods, HRC, CRC, slabs, plates, pre-painted, galvanised etc.) Good understanding of INCO TERMS 2010, UCP 600, contract exposure, marine freight (container and / or bulk), etc. A transferable portfolio of businessfocusing on the North African markets is essential Languages: French and English are essential, Arabic is a plus Located in the UK (happy to relocate)
