Job Description

Startup Head of European Sales - Chinese and English Language Skills - International Organisation - £50k basic + CommissionWe are on the hunt for a highly experienced European Sales Manager / Director, with strong, business level English and Chinese language skills, to join a fast-growing, international organisation as their new Head of European Sales.Joining an international lottery organisation, the Head of European Sales will be responsible for seeking business development opportunities, taking full responsibility for the business objectives and strategic plans for their region.You will set up a local office that will be responsible for the early operation of the startup business and will handle local PR and government relationships; you will be responsible for regional market research, analysis of politics and the business environment and identification of sales and investment opportunities.We’re looking for someone with demonstrable sales success in Europe, ideally in the lottery industry (familiarity with the European lottery market is highly beneficial) and business level Chinese and English language skills.What’s on offer:This is an incredible opportunity to join an expanding startup as it establishes a base in Europe; the role will grow as the company grows and so this is the prime opportunity to be an intrinsic part of the expansion plan of a rapidly scaling organisation.Our client is currently offering a basic salary of £50k + a competitive commission structure.Key responsibilities as the Head of European Sales will include:

  • Seeking business development opportunities
  • Establishing a local office for the early operation of the startup activities
  • Handling local PR and government relations and exploring and understanding the relationship and information of operators
  • Formulating and organising the implementation of regional strategic plans
  • Formulating regional annual and quarterly goals
  • Market research and identification of sales and investment opportunities
  • Development and management of regional sales projects
  • Extensive relationship management with major clients, partnerships and government contacts

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
