Job Description

About English Language LearningIn the English Language Learning (ELL) business unit, we aspire to become the worlds leading destination to learn and improve English language skills. Our main focus is on committed learners from around the world, who are motivated by outcomes because theywant to reach their full potential through learning English.About the roleAs the Stakeholder Relations and Partnerships Manager, you will work within the central ELL Sales team within the English Language Learning business, with a key focus on the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic suite of tests. As we continue to expandour Language Testing services significantly over the next 5 years, you will play a key part in shaping and executing the strategic priorities of our business. The role has an international outlook, dealing with both internal and external stakeholders acrossthe world.High Level Responsibilities

  • Defining the strategy for PTE Partners (B2B partners) and associated programs
  • Managing the PTE Partner operational processes in support of the regions
  • Contributing to the future development needs for the PTE Partner platform, coordinating requirements from the regions
  • Developing Partner marketing plans and working with Marketing to implement
  • Representing global and regional requirements in go-to-market product enhancements or new products
  • Management of global agent partnerships
  • Establish and maintain appropriate partnerships to support growth of PTE in each geo
  • Support the assessment, scoping and delivery of ad-hoc or discrete projects and opportunities which require expert input.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for PTE that have global impacts
  • Utilising product and operational expertise to advise and support regions in the characteristics of the product, the PTE operating model and its operationalisation
  • Maintaining an in depth and up to date understanding of market and competitor activities and dynamics, ensuring key information is systematically shared with the wider team and geographies
  • Representing English Language Learning as the developers of PTE Academic at key conferences and where regions the need for expert support in their engagement with key stakeholders.
About you
  • Ability to work comfortably with budget, revenue and cost figures
  • Project management capability
  • Experience in international higher education in a sales consultancy or operational capacity
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar or complementary roleessential
  • Experience in language assessment
  • Marketing experience - desired
  • Knowledge of international migration
  • Degree qualified
  • Personal profile
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate (oral and written) with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Commitment to a collaborative working environment
  • Comfortable with a matrix organisational
