The Edinburgh Playhouse is preparing to reopen in 2021 with a busy and varied programme of live music, comedy, dance and musicals. Were recruiting for leadership positions in our Technical team; as our new Stage Manager youll help us welcome audiencesback later this year and re-establish our position as a key touring venue for high-profile, high-quality shows. Youll be responsible for the Stage Department, ensuring we offer the highest standards of technical support to hundreds of performances and eventseach year. Establishing great relationships with the touring companies visiting us and effectively leading a team to deliver high standards are key parts of the role. Youll also be responsible for maintaining the building to a high standard and establishinga positive safety culture throughout the venue team. This is a varied role including a good mixture of both planning and management and practical technical work, in a dynamic and fast moving venue, right in the heart of the beautiful city of Edinburgh.
