An opportunity has arisen for an experienced dietitian to join our team of 8.5WTE paediatric dietitians and 2.2WTE paediatric dietetic assistants, on our staff bank.We require a motivated and innovative dietitian with good clinical skills and a broad knowledge in the area of paediatric dietetics. You will have good interpersonal skills and an ability to work well as part of a team.The post offers an excellent opportunity to gain further experience in a wide range of general and specialist paediatric dietetics with an emphasis on gastroenterology. The trust is a specialist centre for paediatric gastrosurgery and you will be working closely with our 3 consultant gastroenterologists and 1 other gastroenterology Dietitian, to provide care for neonates and children with Short Bowel Syndrome, IBD and other gastro-related disorders. You will also gain experience in other specialist areas such as neonatology, PICU, ketogenic diets, allergy, diabetes, neurology, oncology, trauma and HIV.
