We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Retail Accounting Team of Tapestry Europe, reporting into the Senior Manager, Retail Accounting. This individual will play an integral role in the Retail Accounting team of Tapestry Europe, covering 11 countries, 3 brands and 4 channels (retail,outlet, e-commerce, marketplace). The key tasks and responsibilities for the individual include:

• Playing a key role in the monthly close process including posting journal entries, performing reconciliations, and closing the legal entity books
• Taking responsibility for marketplace accounting including monthly accrual calculations, settlement reconciliations and fund drawdowns
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of sales reporting
• Reconciling cash sales and receivables
• Monitoring bank statement application tool and ensuring data completeness
• Ensuring data integrity across reporting systems
• Liaising with our concession store and marketplace partners
• Supporting stores with sales reporting and finance queries on adhoc matters as well as relating to new store openings
• Developing strong cross-functional relationships with Treasury, IT, Tax and Retail Operations teams
• Supporting the wider control finance team on current initiatives and AOP approved projects.

The accomplished individual will possess...

• A Bachelors Degree
• ACA/ACCA qualified/part qualified
• Strong accounting technical knowledge
• Minimum of 3 years+ retail accounting experience
• Strong Excel Skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter, takes initiative, highly motivated
• Ability to multitask and be flexible regarding changing priorities and tight deadlines
• Ability to perform critical analysis and thinking, prioritize and problem solve
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• SAP experience
