SQL Server DBAInternational Banking Group - EC2Y / MoorgateRate: up to £652.02 via Umbrella - Inside IR35*Initial 6 Month Contract, Hybrid Working Model**As an award-winning and preferred recruitment partner to one of the worlds most trusted banking groups for more than ten years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a contract SQL Server Database Administrator to work on a SQL Server / Active DirectorySecurity Project.As part of this project, you will work alongside other DBAs and will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of SQL Server Security and Active Directory Authentication processes and solutions. You will also have some involvement in wider BAUwork and will take part in an on-call role (1 in 8 weeks). This is in an initial 6-month contract, but the project is expected to go beyond this, so an extension is highly likely.Role Expectations / Skills Needed -MS SQL Server 2008 R2 up to SQL Server 2019-Database Mirroring and Always-On (and transitioning from Mirroring to Always On)-AD Managed Service Accounts (MSA and gMSA) in SQL Server-Active Directory Authentication / Security for SQL Server Database Access-Some BAU Support Work (primarily on SQL Server, but may get involved in other technologies including Sybase, Oracle, MongoDB, and Snowflake). As part of the BAU aspect of this role you will be expected to be on-call 1 in every 8-9 weeks.*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is offered on a PAYE basis (via an umbrella company). The day rate is budgeted up to £652.02 and this is the total amount we would pay your nominated umbrella. It is inclusive of holiday accrual and employer pensioncontributions. All statutory deductions (both Employers and Employee NI, Income Tax, Apprenticeship Levy, etc.) will be deducted from this figure.**Hybrid Working: Our client has a hybrid working model. You will be expected to spend two days a week on-site in their London EMEA HQ near Moorgate Tube, with the remainder working remotely from home.Client Relationship: We have worked with this banking organisation for more than ten years and have been the recipient of their UK Supplier of the Year Award.
