SQL Data Analyst | 12 month contract | Inside IR35 | £500 per dayGeneral Role DescriptionMy client require an experienced SQL Developer who can work with limited supervision to support Senior Data Engineer on various data projects of small to medium size and scope.This will be a largely technical role with primary responsibility to develop SQL code (on various platforms), document logic and be comfortable working with Business Stakeholders on a variety of topics using Sales, Finance and HR related data. The successfulindividual must be comfortable working across multiple systems using different tools where required, but all will be based around SQL language as a core.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with sufficient Analyst experience to investigate datasets, define end user requirements and be able to translate between Business and Technical when reviewing solutions/code. Use of formal IT Project documentationis not necessary as this is all logged via JIRA tickets, online Wikis and Corporate GitHub sites (IE IT documentation best practices still apply, but formal documents will not be necessary).Key Skills RequiredSQL coding for minimum of 5 yearsData requirement gathering and documentationExperience working with JIRA, GitHub and Wiki toolsComfortable with learning new skills and tools at rapid paceBonus SkillsDashboard building experience in Power BI and/or TableauAny big data experience - preference on Hive/Hadoop and DatabricksPython - useful potential tool for some projects
