Job Description

Job Title Sponsor Risk Management Solutions (RMS) Location London Corporate Title Director As part of the Corporate Bank, RMS provides Client Coverage and Sales expertise to service the Treasury and Risk Management related needs of corporates and sponsors. While being part of the RMS Rates United Kingdom (UK) team, you will work with high yield corporateand financial sponsors to manage their interest rate risk through hedging solutions. The role requires you to work in close partnership with banking coverage and leverage finance to offer interest rate hedging solutions. Your key responsibilities
  • Lead client relationships in the high yield and sponsor sector
  • Partner with Leverage Finance and Sponsor banking to pitch for key mandates
  • Work in tandem with internal teams such as structuring and trading to come up with innovative solutions for clients needs
Your skills and experience
  • Educated to Bachelors degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience
  • Demonstrate strong client sales skills and comfortability with marketing to and negotiating with senior client representatives
  • Strong internal team player and good collaboration capabilities with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Be able to work under time pressure, have strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience within interest rates derivatives and with sponsor clients (both vanilla and contingent bases)
  • Experience in originating and executing hedging transactions linked to strategic topics such Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and debt financing
