Are you a dedicated and experienced DevOps engineer If so, you could join our IT Operations team and be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our externally hosted Splunk environment. This role is critical to ensuring thereliability, availability, and performance of our services for log management, monitoring, and analytics. Your role:You will manage and maintain the Splunk infrastructure including search heads, indexers, and forwarders. Handle Splunk version upgrades and app/plugin installations. Configure data inputs, manage data retention policies, and optimize search performance. Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting configurations within Splunk. Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to meet business requirements. Manage Splunk user roles, permissions, and access controls. Maintain thorough documentation for configurations, procedures, and service records related to the Splunk environment. Implement and maintain security best practices, including data masking and encryption, in compliance with organizational policies.
