Job Description

Your opportunityWe are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (Band 5-6) to provide a high-quality therapy service to the students of Chobham Academy. The Therapist will work across the Academy with both Primary and Secondary students. The Therapist will carry out assessments of students with speech and language difficulties leading to appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans. They will contribute to the planning of provision to meet the needs of children with speech and language difficulties/delay and will work as part of the staff team to deliver high-quality provision for students.At Chobham Academy, we believe all students have the right to achieve their maximum academic and social potential and seek to promote this by providing equality of access and opportunity to all areas of the curriculum.   • Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy recognised by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Experience dealing with children with ASD/ADHD/PDA/severe language disorders.
  • Knowledge of a range of learning barriersin addition to Speech and Language needs.
