Specification Sales Manager - Lighting & Acoustic Products Job Title: Specification Sales Manager -Lighting & Acoustic ProductsIndustry Sector: A&D, Architects and Interior Designers, Architects, Interior Designers, Designer, Specification, LED, LED Lighting, Lighting Solution, Acoustics, Acoustic Ceilings, Flooring, Wall Covering, Wall and Ceiling Panelling, Flooring, Furniture, Noise Control, Noise Reduction, Stretched Ceilings, Flooring, Tiles, Wall Coverings, Fabrics, Interior Building Products, Graduate Sales, Graduate Specification Sales Manager, Interior Graduates, Graduate Specification SalesArea to be covered: LondonRemuneration: £30,000-£40,000 + uncapped commission giving OTE £60-70kBenefits: travel allowance + comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Specification Sales Manager - Acoustic Ceiling & Wall Solutions will involve:

  • Specification sales position selling a high end range of manufactured LED lighting, acoustic and stretched ceiling systems
  • Majority of your time with be spent generating specifications via architect, interior designers and fit out companies
  • The remaining portion of your time will then be spent seeing projects through, stimulating demand and breaking specifications via main & sub-contractors
  • Will receive some live projects accounts that have already been specced
  • Targeted to achieve circa £500k first year with a view to increase this year on year
  • Working on order values ranging from £10k-£1m, with an average of circa £30k-£40k
  • Typical projects include commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, entertainment
  • Spending nights a week networking / socialising
  • Will be expected to cover mainly inside the M25
  • Once up and running, will be required to conduct CPD seminars and attending trade shows
    • The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - Acoustic Ceiling & Wall Solutions with:
  • Ideally have experience selling an interior product into architects and interior designers OR have come from an strong interior designer background looking to get into field sales
  • Will be happy to see a graduate looking to get into field sales
  • Would consider somebody without A&D experience if you have sold via fit out companies, main contractors and subcontractors
  • Ideally have experience selling LED lighting, acoustic and stretched ceiling systems or related products (would consider any interior product).
  • Ideally have contacts within the A&D Specification Market sector specifically in London and surrounding areas
  • Prepared to spent evenings networking with architects and interior designers
  • New business hunter mentality
