Through these efforts, we support PGIM in sustaining its competitive advantage in the marketplace.Our Role:European Human Resources is looking for a highly organized Payroll and Benefits Administrator with strong processing, problem solving and collaborative skills to join a motivated, energetic, and resourceful HR Operations team. Reporting to the Payroll andBenefits Managers, the Payroll and Benefits Administrator will be responsible for the collation, processing, validating of monthly and annual payroll and benefit tasks to ensure accurate, scalable, compliant and consistent operations and procedures. Theideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR, payroll, benefits administration, monthly and annual statutory returns, payroll systems, different comp programs, standard operating procedures and their collective impact on employee experience and employeedata.The Payroll and Benefits Administrator is responsible for administering the payroll and benefit changes relating to the applicable PGIM employee life cycle to ensure a complete and accurate processing across several countries and several lines of business,in an environment of continuous improvement. Excellent problem-solving skills and a high degree of customer focus are essential in this dynamic, high performing culture.This role is primarily based at our London office (near Trafalgar Square) and currently the office is operating with hybrid working arrangements.Your specific responsibilities would include:

  • Own the administration, processing and validation of different UK and European payrolls and benefits schemes
  • Collaborate with the other HR team members throughout PGIM and Prudential Corporate HR to assist in the delivery of an excellent customer experience for all client groups
  • Optimize operational excellence by managing process improvement within the payroll and benefits processing space this would include identifying problems/inefficiencies, researching, reviewing, vetting, and implementing best practices for cyclical processimprovements
  • Establish strong relationships with European HR Business Partners and other HR functional teams to develop an understanding of PGIM business culture and provide timely and well-planned process support
  • Act as an important point of contact for payroll and benefit processing concerns or changes that need addressing
  • Escalate any important or urgent issues to the Payroll and Benefit Managers
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks to the business in relation to payroll and benefits processing
  • Stay up to date with regulatory developments and best practices with regards to payroll and benefits
  • Administer shadow payrolls in relation to European cross border and remote working requirements
  • Assist in new PGIM entity, branch and country set-ups where required
Your Required Skills:
  • At least 3 years in a European wide country payroll processing role
  • Good working knowledge of payroll, comp and benefits cyclical processes, e.g., Year End Compensation, Long Term Incentive programs
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Experience with dealing with global/multi-national payroll and benefit schemes ideally in a regulated financial services Company
  • Expertise in processing employee life-cycle payroll and benefits administration changes, including hiring, payroll, benefits, compensation, and termination processes within globally linked HR, payroll, benefit and external vendor or regulatory systems/portals
  • Good written and verbal interpersonal skills, dependability, and the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization required.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills required.
  • Process oriented, driving improvements to make things as efficient as possible
  • Excellent judgment and discretion required in handling highly sensitive, privileged, confidential and/or non-public information in an appropriate manner.
  • Proven ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships and influence others
  • Experience of working in a matrix organization, across multiple countries and cultures
  • Good payroll/benefits systems knowledge (Workday/Darwin preferred)
  • Strong IT Skills, including good proficiency in Excel. Able to manipulate data, generate reports and provide analysis
  • Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and completeness
  • Strong critical thinking and logic skills
  • Proactive problem solving

  • Foreign language skills (especially European languages) beneficial although not required
