Job Description

SEN TEACHING ASSISTANTS / LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTS£100 PER DAYBrixton (SW2)MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM - 4PM The successful applicants will have:

  • Previous experience working with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and challanging behaviour.
  • TEAM TEACH / positive behaviour reinforcement.
  • Track record of supporting vulnerable individuals.
  • Ideally experience working with children and/or young people.
  • Valid and enhanced child or child and adult DBS check.
The role will consist of:
  • Offering support to the class teacher.
  • Provide support for individuals pupils, ensuring their safety and access to varied learning activities.
  • Classes that incorporate different learning methods/techniques - visual aided learning, sensory learning/play etc.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans.
  • Attending weekly onsite CPD (Continuing Personal Development)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide professional related references
