Job Description

Mental Health Support WorkerSEN SchoolKensington and Chelsea, LondonLong-Term, Full-TimeImmediate Start£85-£100 Per DayA dynamicSEN school in Kensington and Chelsea arelooking for a Mental Health Support Workerto work closely with their SEMH pupils who are unable to access mainstream schools. You’ll be assigned key pupils to work with in both 1:1 and group settings. You will be encouraging independence and the development of positive social behaviour as well as monitoring and reportingon pupil progress. You will integrate a range of approaches to encourage optimal engagement and pupils will respond well with practitioners who exhibit empathy and patience.

  • £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Long-term, full-time
  • ASAP start
  • Can interview/trial immediately, including after school
  • Great transport links
The successful Mental HealthSupport Worker will have:
  • Have a confident approach and resilient attitude
  • Have good SEN experience, especially ofsocial emotional mental health (SEMH) and associated behavioural needs
  • Have a validEnhanced DBS
