Our client, a US-listed organisation is seeking a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) Consultant for a 3-4 month assignment. This role is created to assist in the implementation of SOX across the organisations European entities and will involve working closely withthe SOX Manager, European Finance Director, other members of the Group finance team, internal audit and external auditors.You will support the SOX Manager with performing detailed testing of the key financial processes and identify gaps, assist in developingappropriate mitigating controls and assist in the coordination of the delivery of financial and ITGC SOx testing. In addition, this role will be involved in training stakeholders in understanding established key financial control requirements for local entitiesand Group controls.Applicants should have strong SOx implementation and testing experience, together with excellent interpersonal skills.Whilst covering the European region, the role will be mainly home-based with regular meetings held in the companys officesnear Reading.Due to the immediate nature of the role, only candidates on 1 week notice or less need apply.Knowledge, Skills & Experience Strong SOx control implementation and testing experience Good understanding of finance processes, risks and controls Strongcommunication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail Experience of working to deadlines Interact at all levels with different cultures Have effective influencing skills A good team player and works well in a pressured environment Have the abilityto adapt to a changing environment
