General: "To co-ordinate and support the Housing and Social Care Partnership Board - this brings together directors and senior officers from housing, social services and health. To oversee key change programmes and support project groups. Current prioritiesinclude insourcing key hostels for vulnerable single homeless people, the development of an older people housing strategy, and delivery of extra care homes. The role involves working with a diverse range of people. Excellent organisational and people skillsare essential.Top 5 skills Ability to manage projects and programmes effectively. Excellent communications skills - written and verbal. Able to manage a complex work programme Excellent organisational skills. Excellent people skills MOST IMPORTANT BIT: There is a lotof change management involved with this role- we need someone who is confident and able to liaise with people on all levels and generate engagement!Significant experience of delivering transformation projects Experience of developing policies and strategies, in a local authority setting.
