Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solutions Architect to the global market leading Financial Services solutions provider to analyse and design the technical solutions for their clients.The Solutions Architect will own the overal systems design incuding interfaces with other systems and take a lead role in presale activities and JAD sessions with the clients.The Solutions Architect will own and contribute to design of standards and QA reviews, identifying appropriate software, methods and technologies to deliver solutionsEssential Experience

  • Proficient knowledge of diverse technologies including Linux, Unix, Oracle, COBOL, Java, Web Services
  • (SOAP/REST), XML, SOA and ESB middleware.
  • Financial Services Industry experience, preferably Life & Pensions
  • Competent in software and project estimating and estimation techniques.
  • Experience in Agile Development
    • Desirable Experience
  • Experience in Cloud-based solutions and infrastructure would be advantageous..
  • Experience working in the Life & Pensions insurance industry.
  • Willing and able to learn new technologies.
  • Experience in UML (Unified Modelling Language) is desirable.
