Job Description

Department - Data Analytics - Financial ServicesEmployment Type - PermanentLocation - UK / Germany (remote)As a Solutions Architect you will be responsible for communicating and executing the company’s data analytics solutions to our existing and potential clients (primarily focused on Financial Services domain). This position will require someone to gain technical trust and buy-in from prospective customers, internal stakeholders and partners. You will serve as a key technical point of contact and trusted advisor for our prospects and clients for the entire sales cycle: from generating leads to architecting technical designs, to demonstrating and communicating our solution offerings, and ensuring successful delivery of differentiated outcomes.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Communicate and execute the company’s data analytics solutions, specifically in the Financial Services analytics domain, to our existing customers and prospective clients
  • Own all technical aspects of the sales cycle and drive discovery, presentations, demos, proof of concepts, requirements scoping, proposal creation and engagement delivery by working hands-on with our customers
  • Utilize strong technical expertise and hands-on mentality to excel in technical proof of concepts and work together with our sales and partner teams to close large deals.
  • Develop technical presentations that highlight important data features by leveraging AI, Big Data and Cloud tools.
  • Guide use case discovery via interactive workshops to surface client’s most important problem statements.
  • Conceptualize Financial Services data analytics use cases to implement transformative data strategies, process improvements, and analytical frameworks to solve complex issues in customer engagement, personalization, risk management, investment selection, credit assessment, trade processing, etc.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure quality project completions and oversee delivery
    • Skills needed:
  • 8+ years of work experience with an emphasis on machine learning, big data, cloud, and AI.
  • Minimum participation of at least 1 large enterprise implementation of advanced data analytics into production, preferably within financial services
  • Experience with machine learning and data science applications with strong experience in Python and deploying applications in cloud. Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing, Supervised/Unsupervised Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, RPA, etc
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloudera, Snowflake, Databricks
  • Solid functional understanding of Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, NoSQL Databases, Tableau, PowerBI, D3.js, HDFS, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Oozie, etc
  • Self-starter, self-managed, quick learner, problem-solver with a positive, collaborative, and team-based attitude
  • Comfortable translating technical solutions into industry-specific terms, and effectively communicating ROI
  • Love solving technical puzzles and have a solution-oriented and customer-focused mindset
  • Experience supporting multiple agile scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong presentation skills, and an ability to engage with senior business leaders
  • Significant exposure and understanding of Financial Services sector
