Job Description

Experis are working with a global bank for a Payments Solution Enterprise Architect. This will be mostly a remote position but does require the rare occasion on site. The successful candidate with hold experience working within the financial sector,and 10+ years experience in IT, with 3-4 years as a Technology Architect.Title: Solution Enterprise Architect (Payments)Location: Hybrid London/RemoteLength: 6 monthsRate: £622 via umbrellaResponsibilities:

  • Working with MENA Lead Payments Architect, Global Payments Architect Team , Program Project Manager, or Technology Partner - responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with the original solution and as per TechnologyStrategy.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality software through clear definitions of success whilst also building trust within teams and empowering them with the right skills and reference materials to be autonomous in a safe manner.
  • Ensure appropriate compliance with target architecture and architecture principles
  • Challenge complex requirements and push for the use of OTB capabilities where appropriate to drive simplicity and cost effectiveness.
Desired Skills
  • 10 years if IT experience , preferably 3-4 years Technology Architect .
  • Extensive knowledge & experience in designing and delivering micro-service and API services on K8s (Anthos , GKE)
  • Event driven design experience with Strong understanding and working knowledge on Kafka is a must.
  • Strong experience designing and delivering applications for the cloud (containerized and server less applications, auto-scaling, managed data services etc.)
  • Own End to End Micro service technical design and implementation, API policy management with Kong , Strong experience designing RESTful API services, and a working knowledge of integrating with open standards for federated authorization and authenticationsuch as OAuth 2 and JWT.
  • Good understanding of the OWASP top 10
  • Agile delivery methodologies experience
  • Provide technical direction to the developer colleagues to implement secured software solutions, both for backend and frontend using K8s, Istoservice Mesh on Anthos/GKE (Google K8s Engine) using Java and modern technologies.
  • Able to rationalize between different solution options and define pros and cons based on a driving force from a commercial, operational and technology viewpoint.
  • Maintains detailed awareness and promotes any relevant statutory, internal or external regulations, standards and codes of good practice & promote and drive innovation by actively advocating new tools, processes and technical developments to drive continuousdevelopment, you should be up to date with current industry approaches and strategies.
  • Support development of components using modern languages and techniques, and maintenance of deployment tooling and automation to support the CI/CD pipelines, with deep understanding of Enterprise Container Platforms (e.g., Docker)
