Our leading insight and news service, the Health Service Journal, provides the most influential people in health with vital intelligence, analysis and advice.Main Purpose of RoleThe Solutions Consultant is a key member of the KAM and Insights Directorate and their role is critical to the ongoing competitiveness of the business underpinned by ambitious growth plans.As a Solutions Consultant, you will become the subject matter expert and be responsible for all aspects from pre-sales consultation through to post-sales service relating to new business and renewals across the Quantis Real World Evidence insight and intelligence portfolio (including, but not limited to dashboards and bespoke projects).It is essential that the person carrying out this position understands key customer needs and ensures WHC communicates how our products deliver solutions, whilst ensuring a strategic development pipeline is driven to maximise this into the future.Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide external and internal consultancy for the Quantis solution by:- Becoming the subject matter expert in our RWE Healthcare data (E.g. HES data); providing guidance to stakeholder teams on complex deliverables.- Creating and delivering powerful, compelling product demonstrations- Actively participating in client activities alongside other key stakeholders across the business (e.g. commercial, analytical and technology functions)- Proactively consulting on best practice methodology, design and build activities with stakeholders to ensure client success- Providing knowledge transfer to our customers through training and consultancy, embedding yourself as the subject matter expert.- Develop Product Requirements documents and functional specifications- Utilise technical ability to prioritise issues and respond appropriately to competing priorities.- Provide guidance and enablement to Account Directors and other key stakeholders.- Drive new product/data knowledge and positioning with the Commercial, Client Facing and Marketing Teams (including training) for the defined product set.- Assist in the management of the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.- Assist the Solutions Director in achieving relevant targets, maximising revenue for the Quantis Portfolio.- Assist the Solutions Director to understand the customer landscape, needs and market trends to transform this into future pipeline products high on the value pyramid.- Contribute to RFP activities and responses.- Ensure that WHC remains compliant with all data (re)usage.Skills and Experience RequiredEssential- Healthcare data experience - analysis, visualisation, presentation- Prior experience in a role where you have held authority and had autonomy to recommend/make decisions- Familiarity with healthcare - data, commercial drivers, or customer groups- Knowledge of Excel and other MS office products- Client focussed with commercial acumen- Curious, analytical mindset - solution and data driven problem solving- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both presenting and listening- Manage on-time work delivery in an environment with competing priorities- High level of autonomy in day to day activities- Enjoy a challenge!Desirable- Capability with data visualisation tools and design principles (e.g. tableau)- Previous experience with SQL- Experience with the full product life and development cycle- Deep knowledge of HES (Hospital Episode Statistics) and other healthcare data- Professional experience in a hands on data role- Strong knowledge of common analytical and statistical methods- Experience communicating to a variety of seniority levels, who may have varying levels of technical knowledge"We are committed to equality, equality of opportunity and valuing diversity" Required skills
