Solution Architect

Some key responsibilities of the role include

Creative and collaborative approach to solution design in line with overarching strategy and vision
Work in a team environment, communicating with software engineers and data engineers to guide and mentor them on solution designs
Working with fellow solution architects to produce solution options and agree on most pragmatic solution

Here are the skills our client is looking for

Strong understanding of datalake architectures
Knowledge and understanding of data warehousing as well as knowledge of big data applications built on Apache Hadoop and/or Apache Spark
Deep understanding of solution designs for various data science and machine learning applications
Microsoft Azure, Data Modelling & Data Governance
Expert understanding of build configuration and automation in a CI environment
Experience with CI tools (Concourse, Azure Pipelines)
Strong experience with testing frameworks and libraries
Experience working within an Agile, DevOps environment
