We are currently working across a number of essential development and construction programmes, and as such, we are seeking an ambitious Solicitor to join our fun and motivated team andhelp us deliver best-in-class legal advice. The Role:Working on high-value and politically-sensitive challenges in both our commercial and residential property portfolio, you will work alongside senior stakeholders to deliver innovative advice on a wide arrayof challenges including regeneration projects. Working across neighbourhoods as varied as Victoria, Pimlico, Edgware Road and Notting Hill, you will share expert property knowledge with committees, project and programme boards, always considering the commercialand corporate implications of your advice. With a focus on ensuring that value for money is being achieved for the Council and our residents, you will handle complex negotiations, and you will shape creative solutions to challenges and issues as they arise.About You:This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team who are committed to making a difference to the lives of our residents, and to the success of local businesses. To be equal to the challenge, you will therefore be an experienced Property Solicitor,Barrister or Fellow of CILEx, with a broad understanding of how decisions are made within local government. With experience in both commercial and residential property matters, you will have a deep knowledge of all relevant legislation, and you will have thecapacity to work autonomously. As a confident negotiator with excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be highly motivated and organised, and you will enjoy working in partnership with stakeholders at every level.
