We need someone who understands software design and can work with the Product team to support user research, usability testing - understanding user requirements is important.Experience with AGILE processes - wireframe; with a passion for processes and implementing new procedures.Huge growth potential in this emerging and revolutionary business!APRIL/MAY 2023 START - 2 stage remote interviews with Key stakeholders!The Role: You will be responsible for designing and developing the user interfaces and experience for our clients geospatial software tools. Work closely with software developers and product managers to create compelling visualisationsand interactions that make our tools easy to use and understand across a wide range of user types.Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product managers and software developers to create high-quality, user-centred designs for our geospatial software tools.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications that effectively communicate your design ideas.
  • Create engaging and visually appealing data visualisations, maps, and other graphical elements that help users understand and analyse complex data sets.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure our tools meet the needs of our users.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement your designs and ensure they are visually and functionally consistent across platforms and devices.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, and share your knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in graphic design, user experience design, or a related field
  • Experience understanding user requirements and usability testing outputs, as well as translating these into designs for complex software applications.
  • Familiarity with designing interfaces for data driven applications.
  • Proficiency with design software such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with front-end web development technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a willingness to work in a small, fast-paced team environment.
