Job Description

An innovative & industry-leading organisation specialising in next-generation technology are currently looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead their extremely talented development team.The OrganisationThe organisation specialise in the development of next-generation medical device technology and throughout the years have grown year-on-year and have now become market-leaders in their area of specialism. They are on the verge of opening a new state of theart facility in London and hope to be moved in by the end of the year which is extremely exciting and a great time to join.Software Engineering ManagerThe main objective of the role is to oversee all aspects of software design and development within the company. You will lead and manage the Software team as well as be expected to develop processes, methods, and tools to drive best practice in softwaredevelopment and deployment.Software Engineering Manager Essential Requirements:

  • MS/PhD in Computer Science or a minimum of 8 years of software product development experience
  • Experience in leading software development teams creating complex software for medical devices
  • Extensive hands-on experience in software development for medical devices classified as Class 2 and/or Class 3
  • Expertise in FDA design control requirements (21 CFR 820.30) as applied to medical device software & medical device regulations including ISO 13485, ISO 14971, Cybersecurity, IEC 62366, & IEC 62304
  • Significant technical knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, network and data infrastructure & security
  • Knowledge of programming in C, C++, C#, & Python languages
  • Experience with Egnyte, QPulse, IEC 62304, Ubuntu, Canonical, Open Stack
  • Understanding of EN ISO/IEC 27000 Information technologySecurity techniques
