Your Impact Asset Management Research Technology supports the multiple businesses in the Asset ManagementDivision including one of the top Fixed Income asset managers in the world with over $800 billion under management. The team create platforms for analysts and portfolio managers to leverage and create internal fundamental views alongside quantitative models,for example; preparing data metrics for Environmental, Social and Governance analysis and sustainable investing. The role offers a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with the Asset Management investment professionals and deliver the latest technologysolutions while learning finance. You will be working directly on platforms that deliver real impact to the business streamlining investment workflows and providing tooling to help digitize and automate their research and investment process as part of theAMD business growth strategy. AM Research Technology is a global team of approximately 15 developers working predominantly with the Fixed Income and Fundamental Equity businesses on all aspects of the research process. The Engineering team is based in London,New York, and Bengaluru. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Responsibilities and Qualifications How you will fulfill your potential Gain knowledge of Fundamental Analysis, Sustainable Investing and the Investment Lifecycle. Full stack development with Java,Angular, NoSql data sources (MongoDB) and Real Time systems. Participate in the design, development, testing, roll out and documentation of our systems. Work closely with business users and other developers globally. Work in a highly innovative technical teamwith plenty of opportunity to improve and grow your technical skills. Skills and Experience we are looking for Fluency in Java, familiarity with Vert.X and delivering REST API microservices. Experience with MongoDB or NoSQL database experience, and Elasticsearchis a plus. Experience working with Typescript, Sass, Angular and/or React, microfrontends is a plus. Test-driven development with Junits, Jasmine, Cypress and Cucumber. Familiarity with build and deployment tooling such as Webpack, Docker, Kubernetes and GitLabis a plus.
