Job Description

Software Engineer in TestWealth Dynamix is a multi-award-winning financial technology provider, looking to hire a Software Engineer in Test. We specialise in the provision of cutting-edge Client Lifecycle Management solutions to the worlds leading private banks and wealth management firms.We have recently developed a new SaaS variation, called CLMi, of our mainstream product WDX1. CLMi addresses the key industry challenges presented by the complex requirements of Client Lifecycle Management and the orchestration of key activities. These include client acquisition, onboarding, regulatory compliance, relationship management, client servicing, business intelligence and digital portals (client and advisor).We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Software Engineer in Test to join our rapidly growing global business. The right candidate will have a passion for new transformative technology, industry trends and delivering value to clients and to Wealth Dynamix via well executed projects.The Role:As Software Development Engineer in Test you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to conceive and design innovative consumer products.You will be responsible for shaping our test automation architecture and technically lead the team in areas of quality, test automation, and continuous delivery. This is a full stack role, automating both client applications, APIs, supporting backend services and their orchestration.What You’ll Do

  • Solve quality problems across the stack.
  • Create and maintain a view of test coverage across the stack.
  • Write idiomatic, tested, and documented code.
  • Develop strategies to improve durability of tests over time, making them more robust.
  • Develop and improve testability of the applications used for both our user interface and backend services.
  • Automate across the full stack including Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript applications on the frontend and C# microservices, RDBMS and NoSQL data stores on the backend.
  • Work with key stakeholders throughout.
  • Shape our quality strategy now and into the future.
  • Work with your team to ensure group commitments succeed.
    • What You Will Bring:
  • Proven experience in implementing test automation frameworks, cypress.io, test automation strategy and architecture, delivering within a team.
  • Actively participating in design reviews with your team and/or others.
  • Experience influencing professional software engineering best practices for your team and others, across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code & design reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, security, and operations.
  • Experience working directly with customers, senior management, and/or business/product teams to influence your team’s roadmap & prioritisation and delivery plan.
    • Skills you will have:
  • Experience with cypress.io and Postman.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS and DotNet/C#.
