Job Description

Our client is a leader in data connectivity with the aim to improve customer interactions. They are hiring for a Software Engineer to join their Data Science team and get involved in some exciting projects that are currently at the early stages of their lifecycle.This is an opportunity to grow within the organisation and have some freedom to choose how you implement your engineering strategies.The role is currently fully remote until early 2021 and then will require 2-3 days in the London office.Responsibilities

  • Architect new products on GCP utilising serverless components where possible
  • Recommend robust and scalable products/solutions to power machine learning and statistics workflows
  • Write efficient and maintainable Python code which is optimised to process large amounts of data
  • Build and maintain reliable products through thorough and automated testing and continuous deployment
  • Evaluate, embrace and introduce technology innovations
    • Requirements
  • Several years’ experience writing and deploying production code, mainly in Python
  • Experience architecting with AWS or GCP
  • Having used OpenAPI, Docker and Kubernetes commercially
  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Ability to identify and implement a suitable test suite
    • Even better if you have experience with any of these
  • Have experience with processing large volumes of data (100GB+)
  • Commercial experience with Terraform
