Job Description

Our client is a global software company, the leading specialists in accounting software and support with prestigious offices in Victoria, London.They are now seeking a Software Engineer with 2 years+ experience to join their programming team.

  • You will be working with one of their scrum teams helping to delivery of high quality web or mobile software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.) Roughly 80% hands-on coding.
  • Current architecture is based in microservices, Java/Spring - back-end, React/Redux, GraphQL. Their Target Architecture follows Domain-Driven Design principles, includes Event Driven Architecture and exploring some exciting ML opportunities.
  • Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Experience
  • B.Sc in Computer Science and 2 years+ work experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
  • Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
  • Experience with any of the following Object Oriented Languages (OOD): Java/J2EE, C#, VB.NET, Python, or sometimes C++.
  • An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • An understanding and preferable experience with web services (REST or SOAP).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
