Job Description

Our client is currently actively looking to hire a Software Development Manager (Engineering Manager) based on contract, working on a Hybrid/Remote based basis.As the Software Development Manager, you will be looking after team of 8 within their Supply Chain Tech Team. You will have the responsibility to own the end-to-end data migration project with the team that will be AWS Cloud based, support the team withyour knowledge and experience of being to support in resolving solutions as well as coming up with new ways of to resolve technical difficulties. We are looking for a Manager for a 6 month period with a possibility of going permanent to shape and build uponan already high-performing culture team and environment.

  • Line management of 8
  • Providing guidance, mentoring and support to encourage productivity and career progression.
  • End-to-End Accountability and Ownership for projects, which is an AWS migration project.
  • Facilitate the conversation around the design and architecture of the platform
  • Review and revise product requirements and specifications from the technology point of view
  • Set the technical roadmap in conjunction with Product
  • Recruit and retain software engineers; perm or non-perm.
