Job Description

TRAVEL Software Development Engineer (Full Stack .NET developer)With office based Globally our client is recruiting for the role to be either remote based throughout EUROPE OR UK.Our client is looking for creative and hardworking software engineers wanting to get involved in end-to-end technology platform for the travel industry.TRAVEL Software Development Engineer responsibilities

  • Play a role in the analysis, solutioning, supporting and enhancing cloud native applications/services.
  • Design and develop scalable and highly available platform services to enhance the technology platform.
  • You will apply knowledge of database design to solve data requirements.
  • Responsible for identifying problems and roadblocks as they occur, conduct root cause analysis and fixing them to improve resiliency and stability of platform.
  • Utilizing experience to implement innovative approaches to help improve business processes and system performance.
  • You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to produce efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Focus on improving development and architecture standards by adopting industry standard methodologies.
  • Build API integration into GDS system, Bed Banks, Activity & Tour APIs.
TRAVEL Software Development Engineer requirements
  • Experienced professional software development in an enterprise-level engineering environment and web application development in .net technologies, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, WEB API, AJAX.
  • Able to demonstrate strong database knowledge and experience in PL/SQL, SQL with rich experience in RDBMS like SQL Server / MySQL, SQL tuning and big volume data processing.
  • Experience working with any NoSQL database (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
  • Sound understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Experience working with any client-side / frontend technologies, not necessary but will be beneficial - HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS, JQuery, VueJS.
  • Experience of building API connections within Travel Tech / Bed Banks / Travel will be beneficial.
  • Ability to test & debug applications.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
  • Able to understand moderately complex systems.
