Job Description

This fast growing start up is hiring across their software development team and have openings for Data Engineers building ETL processes through to Full Stack Developers with a background in JavaScript and Typescript to help build the next generation of E-commerceanalytics products.Offering a broad range of strategic, optimisation, management, and advertising services in the UK and internationally, this new Global Marketplace Services Platform helps brands grow their sales on Amazon and other platforms.   • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Python (Pandas / Pyspark)
  • Building data pipelines in AWS
  • Hosting on Heroku and AWS
  • Unit Testing (Jest, mocha)
  • Web crawling and web automation
  • SQL and relational database systems such as Postgres
  • Messaging Queues (Bull/Redis, SQS, RabbitMQ)
  • Dashboarding packages (Klipfolio, redash)
  • Monitoring and Log Analysis (Cloudwatch, Datadog)
  • Front end development in React, Angular or similar
  • Common documentation tools (Sphynx, TypeDoc, JSDoc)
In more detail the Data Engineer will develop a scalable and reliable platform. Utilising your background in developing ETL processes, managing databases/warehouses and integrating BI Solutions you will help them build the next generationof E-commerce products. You will embrace acting fast in an innovative and iterative environment within a well-funded scaleup business.The successful Full Stack Developer will develop solutions to obtain data from third party solutions using APIs and web scraping.Our client work in an agile environment and developers will be expected to work with common tools for documentation, code reviews, requirements management, as well as CI and CD.This is a rare opportunity for a passionate Full Stack Developer / Data Engineer to make a real impact joining a rapidly growing, well-funded start up.
