Software Developer / Engineer (C# .Net Core). Would you like to work on complex trading systems within an informal, collaborative and technology driven environment Youll be rewarded with significant bonuses and be based in amazing City offices with roof terrace, breakout areas, free food and casual dress code.As a Software Developer youll partner with traders to design and develop C# .Net based trading applications, optimise pricing libraries, improve trading tools and extend systematic trading strategies, automating wherever possible. Theres a mix of projects from live updates to longer term programmes; youll gain exposure to the full technology stack with focus on backend systems some exposure to web based user interfaces. Youll ensure that all your code is well tested; document new features and new applications, ensuring that they are communicated and collaborate with Infrastructure, Operations teams to ensure that all software is supported and complies with financial regulations. The company has been established less than ten years and is growing rapidly including new offices in Hong Kong and Chicago. Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process during the current social distancing measures.Requirements:*You have strong C# .Net development experience and are familiar with .Net Core*You have experience in a similar prop-trading or Hedge Fund environment with a good understanding of the trade lifecycle*You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Data Structures, Memory Management and Multi-threading *You have good SQL skills*You have a working knowledge of Linux, Docker / Containerisation and Cloud technologies*Youre familiar with Front End technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS*Youre degree educated, ideally in Computer Science or similar scientific / numerical discipline, 2.1 or above*Youre collaborative and have excellent communication skillsAs a Software Developer / Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £130k, negotiable dependant on skillset and depth of knowledge) plus significant bonus and benefits package.
