Job Description

Soft Agricultural OperatorUp to £60,000 plus bonus and benefits The position available is for a Shipping Coordinator focused on our operations Overseas. Collaborating closely with the Trade team, this role revolves around managing the physical transportation of cocoa beans to our customers. Responsibilities encompass:

  • Providing logistical support to the origins and London trading team in tandem with the Shipping Manager.
  • Engaging with overseas operations, suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and warehouse partners.
  • Overseeing shipments, agreements, and associated documentation.
  • Verifying and handling invoices for payment, coordinating with the Accounts team.
  • Managing the processing of bank presentations and LCs.
  • Ensuring prompt deliveries to clients.
  • Implementing effective stock management practices.
Skills & Experience• Minimum of 3 years demonstrated expertise in shipping/logistics within a related industry/environment, encompassing container or equivalent shipping practices• Preference for experience in commodities-related logistics• Exceptionally organized with a proven ability to effectively oversee and manage diverse shipments during high-demand periods• Proficiency in Excel and adeptness in navigating various systems• Outstanding communication abilitiesThe position available is for a Shipping Coordinator focused on our operations in Ghana.
