Our high-performing team is dedicated to thesafety of children and young people across Westminster. In this varied role, youll havethe opportunity to explore different facets of social work, from assessment to child protection and court work. Caseloads are managed around you, allowing you to give children and families the best of your professional care and expertise. At every stage, wellsupport and encourage you to progress through secondments and training. At Westminster, you will be a valued member of an exceptionally talented team who bring a range of experiences, perspectives and cultural backgrounds into the work of safeguarding. Thefamilies you work with across Westminsters communities will be equally diverse, so were particularly keen to hear from you if youre from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background and/ if you are bi-lingual or multi-lingual. About You:A qualified socialworker, you are registered with Social Work England and have an enhanced DBS check. A track record of safeguarding children and families is vital. This might include qualified social work or placement experience in early help, child protection, care proceedings,permanency care planning or leaving care services.Well expect you to demonstrate experience of assessing and engaging families from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Youll also need a proven ability to support families with complex problems. Theability to speak more than one language would be a real advantage. You will bring to the role skills including project planning and the ability to analyse complex information.
