Our culture will beopen and transparent, celebrating our strengths and commitment to learning and development and continuous improvement.Our highly effective management and leadership will provide clarity, structure, excellent supervision and deliver high support and appropriatechallenge.We are looking to recruit two individuals to work with our senior leadership team to deliver our vision for childrens social care:A Social Work Service Manager for our three locality hubs and a Principal Officer - Social Work Transformation, whowill lead on the implementation of our practice model.Could you be the right person to help shape our vision for the futureSocial Work Group Manager - Childrens Locality Hubs37 hours per weekGrade 16: £52,664 to £53,665 per annum(up to £8,000 relocationfees)This is a unique opportunity to join our established and experienced senior management team to help lead a newly reconfigured service that is better equipped to meet the safeguarding needs of children and young people in Bridgend County Borough.We havecreated four smaller case management teams. These consist of a Care Experienced Team, providing an improved range of pathways for children who are care experienced and three locality teams, based within our three community hubs around the county borough.Together,this targeted Family Support Service provides a continuum of services ranging from early help to intensive provision to families with complex needs.It is supported by teams who offer expertise in relation to children with disabilities and young people aged16 and over who are entitled to leave care services.The successful candidate will provide leadership and supervision of case management at our three community hubs. Your remit will be key to the delivery and development of policies, procedures, and practiceguidelines to meet statutory and regulatory requirements as well our Strategic Plan for Childrens Services in Bridgend County Borough.
