Job Description

Social Media Measurement SpecialistA global powerhouse within the social media industry is looking for a Social Media Measurement Specialist to join their team on a 6 month contract.In this role, the successful Social Media Measurement Specialist will manage multiple projects and be responsible for the reporting and analysis of ongoing campaigns and monitoring of online conversations about the brand, across key markets internationally.This person will be a go-to resource for providing regular insights around trends and key brand narratives as well as data about our target audience and how the content is performing. The ideal candidate personally enjoys social media, demonstrates excellentanalytical skills, is comfortable with extracting and interpreting data, compiling reports and creating presentations. They should have experience working with social monitoring/listening tools and be able to turn large amounts of data into actionable insightsand strategic recommendations.Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Scope:

  • Understand the objectives of the social media team and manage the program to regularly measure and report on our progress
  • Conduct analysis of social campaigns that include insights and optimisation recommendations
  • Continuously improve performance of social campaigns by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and providing strategic recommendations
  • Stay current on the latest trends in social media analysis and continuously improve our approach
  • Ability to distil key learnings from data and translate them into actionable takeaways
  • Proactivity in creating and communicating connections between programs globally to ensure borderless sharing of learnings
Skills / Experience Required
  • 5+ years of social or digital experience, preferably in strategy, media or analytics roles
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms
  • Expert in using Social Listening Tools (e.g. Brandwatch, CrowdTangle, etc.) and manipulating data
  • Ability to visualise data for impact and storytelling and to simplify insights for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to use quantitative & qualitative data to inform, measure, and iterate on content
  • Strong presentation skills & attention to detail.
  • Data and metrics reporting and interpreting
  • Proficiency in using Brandwatch for social listening and insights generation.
  • Ability to provide strategic recommendation backed up by data
  • Comfortable in a highly fast paced environment that requires flexibility and a startup mindset
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and G Suite
  • Comfortable with cross-cultural environments, projects and teams.
  • Familiarity with existing social media measurement tools, such as Brand Lift Studies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyse culture and global customer behavioural trends in order to inform content creation that is always timely, topical and relevant
Education Background/ Requirements:
  • Degree: degree preferred but not required
  • Background: Analytical (Marketing Analyst) & some Editorial Experience (working with publishers, in social content programs)
Years of Experience Required & in/with what:
  • 5+ years of social or digital experience, preferably in strategy, media or analytics roles
