If youre looking for a structured, hierarchical company to join, and love having others take accountability, this is not the right move for you.Were looking for a person who is able to take initiative and make things happen.The Social Media Executive role includes much of the following as well as other digital marketing tasks and accountabilities:

• Taking, gathering, & editing pictures and video clips (iPhone is fine) of Bloqs life - you do not need to be a videographer or photographer for this role. You just need to have an eye for visual assets you can create on an iPhone that will interest andappeal to makers
• Create video and visual assets such as digital content, posters, flyers, ads, tiles, & templates; ideally, youll have Canva or Indesign skills
• Social media management
• Content creation/gathering; turning stories into marketing assets
• Create, send and review data for newsletters with strong calls to action and finding the right people to target
• Analogue advertising; creating attractive ads to trial offline, papers, magazines, local places
• Create email marketing funnels; creating/managing emails triggered to members and potentials

Overall you will be pivotal in supporting the growth of the organisations success with all your marketing efforts. Job requirements Wed love for you to have the following skills, experience and personality traits:

• Social media and/or digital marketing commercial experience
• Photo and video skills
• Graphic design (Canva and/or Indesign)
• Social media creation, scheduling and reporting
• Marketing content creation and repurposing
• Be friendly, curious and energetic
• Be ready to iterate, learn, and muck in

Perhaps you have some of these skills also:

• Targeted electronic direct mail (EDM)
• Offline advertising
• Pipeline auto emails and marketing funnels

Nice to haves (in terms of experience) with plenty of opportunities to develop these skills:

• Website updates - simple content tweaks, updates and picture refreshing
• Newsletters
• Surveys - finding out what our customers think, feel, and want more of
• Venue tours - showing potential users of Bloqs all the riches they can make use of if they join
• Event support - promo, documenting, hosting, and follow-ups
• Copywriting - long-form blogs
