Senior Clinical Fellow (SpR) Senior Clinical Fellow in Peri-procedural Echocardiography & Critical CareLocation - Brompton HospitalFixed Term - 6 months (with possibility to extend to 12 months)Senior Clinical Fellow (SpR) (No on-call)Avaliable from April 2021To provide a clinical service in perioperative, periprocedural and critical care echocardiography (transoesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography).To participate in, and contribute to, the proper functioning and efficient running of organisation, delivery and reporting of peri-procedural echocardiography services in theatres, catheter labs, adult ICU and HDU.The appointee will be expected to play a central role in service and research in relation to peri-operative/peri-procedural and critical care echocardiography. This will entail working with the departments of anaesthesia, surgery, cardiology, critical care and echocardiography. This post will be supported and supervised by consultants in peri-operative and critical care trans-oesophageal and trans-thoracic echocardiography.
