Job Description

Service Engineer required. Our client is a leading BMS, Ventilation and Smoke Control Business. Their intelligent smoke control, BMS and passive ventilation systems are installed in thousands of buildings nationwide, andtheir project teams have earned a reputation for technical excellence, reliability, and open collaboration. They are now looking for a Service Engineer to join due to the growth of the business.Successful candidates will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role, servicing and commissioning smoke ventilation projects on site and ensuring compliance with BS9999.Service Engineer Position Overview

  • Servicing and Commissioning of Smoke Ventilation systems
  • Ensuring site compliance with BS9999 building regulations
  • Able to work as part of an experienced team of engineers
  • Experience of HVAC systems
  • An ability to physically check, maintain and diagnose mechanical & electrical systems, and undertake remedial work when required.
  • Understanding of electrical circuits within control panels
  • An ability to problem-solve, think outside of the box and provide thorough solutions
  • Always aims to deliver great customer service, but you are not afraid to say No when needed
Service Engineer Position Requirements
  • 3 years+ experience in a similar role. Will consider strong Electrical and Fire alarms knowledge, AOV or PLC.
  • Site experience, ideally holding a CSCS Card, IPAF etc.
  • Participation in the call out rota 1 in 6 weeksCITB H&S Qualified (SSSTS, IOSH, SEATS) advantageous
  • 18th edition or any electrical qualifications advantageous
Service Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary: £35,000- £40,000 (potentially up to £45,000 based on experience)
